Our process

We’ve been doing this for many years, for many membership organisations.

1

Business analysis

We look at your current setup, find out where you want to be and discuss the different options.

2

Shortlist potential vendors

We will help you find a CRM vendor that aligns with your business objectives, organisational needs and budget.

3

Run a pilot project

If you want to know what it would be like working with someone – try working with them! We’ll help you run a short project so you can see how the technology would work for your organisation.

4

Technology sign posting

We’ll help you navigate the complex world of apps, solutions and integrations, in order to choose a family of tools that work well together, are robust and have longevity in delivering value to your organisation.

You could just tell that the people you are dealing with are very knowledgeable of the subject. Zentso is our best supplier.

Implementation

Whether we helped you find a CRM or not, you’ll need your new CRM set up and integrated with all of your existing systems. This is where we can step in and smooth the process.

How we implement

Ongoing support

We’re not the type to integrate and run, so we’ll be on hand, online, on the phone for all the support you’d need with your CRM system. We’re not a room of bots, we’re real human people who care about providing the best service possible.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you can’t see an answer to your question, please get in touch.

Have you outgrown your CRM? How do I know it’s time to look at other options? +

There are some common signs worth checking against: your team can’t access the system remotely, you’re relying on extra integrations to cover gaps the CRM should handle out of the box, staff or members are visibly frustrated with it, you can’t easily turn member data into useful reports, or the system struggles to keep up as your membership grows. See our full breakdown in Have you outgrown your CRM?

Are Zentso CRM agnostic? +

Zentso are partners with iMIS, Salesforce and Fonteva. We will work with you to understand your requirements for a new CRM and then suggest which system we think will be best. We will explore these options with you. If we don’t think these solutions are the right fit or you can get more from your current system, we’ll tell you.

How much does a new CRM cost? +

Moving to a new CRM is an investment and pricing is typically based on key factors including licensing, implementation and configuration, and ongoing support costs.  We will explain the costs to you and help you make an informed decision. Find out more about our pricing.

Do we need a consultant to choose a CRM, or can we do it ourselves? +

You can run this in-house, but the areas that most often go wrong (defining real requirements, running a fair vendor comparison, avoiding a process that favours the biggest proposal rather than the best fit) are exactly where we can help! Our business analysis and shortlisting steps are built around avoiding those specific traps.

What’s wrong with the usual RFP process for choosing a CRM? +

We complete countless RFPs, from our experience a traditional tender can take anywhere from four to twenty-four months. They tend to reward vendors who write strong proposals rather than ones who deliver well. It also puts the sales team, not the implementation team, in front of you during the process that decides who you’ll work with for years. How does Zentso’s approach to CRM selection work? +

We recommend a three-step process: get to a shortlist of three vendors fast using criteria that actually predict a good fit, run a small paid pilot project with each so you see real delivery work rather than a sales demo, then choose a preferred vendor early based on that experience.
