On Wednesday 18th June 2025, Diane Scott, Senior Consultant at Zentso attended the iMIS innovations roadshow in Edinburgh.
The event brought together iMIS users to hear about updates and developments in the community. Many attendees were unaware of some of the features available, and they could watch demonstrations of useful tools.
Key areas of discussion
Moving to EMS
Some attendees were using iMIS 2017 and have yet to move to EMS. iMIS EMS is a cloud-based solution, meaning you no longer have to be tied to a server. The system is more reliable and accessible anywhere. The user interface is also more modern and user-friendly.
Managing payments
Another challenge discussed was how to manage payments on iMIS. Having your payment processes integrated with your iMIS solution allows you to have a complete overview of your members. Your decision-making ability will be enhanced, and you’ll be able to save time by only reporting in one location.
Making improvements to your iMIS system
You want to make the most of your investment in iMIS and, hopefully, that means making continuous improvements. This might mean resolving any challenges you are currently having, integrating third-party solutions, and supporting your team with training to uncover additional features.
